We welcome back one of our Masterpiece favorite teachers - Steven S. Walker. This three-Day painting workshop features Steven's exquisite talent and his exceptional landscape and plein air skills as he masterfully finesses light and color.
So come hone your skills! Join other landscape air and figurative painters from across the Northwest and the country as we converge on this influential city to art/document some of the historic churches downtown and the beautiful Grotto. And have an incredible time to network with other artists of faith, finesse your skill sets and enjoy incredible camaraderie together.

Why choose the sacred architecture of Portland as a theme? As patrons and pioneers laid down the gauntlet of architectural and spiritual power with these artistic edifices to bring the grace, dignity and hope of Christianity to this city we salute them with our present gifts. Participating artists will authenticate the splendor and dignity of their spires, bell towers, cupolas, stained glass, ceilings, doors and more in paintings/sculptures, interior and exterior details, and the current rhythms of their congregants in figurative depictions. We artistically salute these grand urban edifices and those who invested with vision well beyond their lifetimes. And in so doing we prompt a new generation to esteem and fill them with authentic worship and sacred power again.
Price: 3 days instruction, Breakfasts and dinners (also includes Thursday lunch), all group morning and evening inspirational sessions and speakers. Lodging is separate.

Not an artist but want to meet the artists, listen to the presentations, see the art and be a part of this exciting conference? Then, friends or spouses, our paired Portland/ natural and Botanical Beauty tour is for you! Experience The Japanese Gardens, Rose Gardens, Multnomah Falls , the Grotto and the Lan Su Chinese Gardens. Price includes entrance fees, all conference morning and evening group sessions, meals (excluding lunches), but not painting sessions. Lodging at Lewis and Clark is optional. No child care is available and minor children must be supervised by parent and guardian at all times. Please fill out separate registration if your spouse or other non-artist guest wishes to attend.
